LOL in response to your wall post reply below (which I came across ten seconds ago) I do wish fanfiction is reality too. *grimaces* Real life...it's a horrifying, wicked little thing. 
Thank you for the stunning review of Shanghai. I am really thankful you gave the story a shot, and actually liked what you've read! It's at an interesting point where people are desperately trying to know who and what Sesshoumaru REALLY is, and it will all come to light soon!  Thank you once again, m'dear!

May as well answer you here. I had a ceremony like that, yes. A sweat ceremony, followed by a couple days in the woods (AH!), wyakin discovery, and a big ceremony when you return. Fun, I suppose. How was yours? Feedback from Yoru-101: -chuckles- I fear that may be impossible, my dear Siki. The Mohawk are not known for being lenient part, but it started with my father (I was twelve...I think?) Taking me to the middle of the woods, dropping a bow and some arrows at my feet, and saying "survive". They don't tell you when they do this to you, they just kick you out.
I spent 3 days in that forest, and I had to bring back a "proof of kill". My kill was a rabbit, little bugger lost three of my arrows, I had to make more. But when I brought it back, my mother blessed it, and gave it as an offering. Then we danced around the fire all night, as I told my story.

It's nice to meet another one of the People on this site! Gives me hope 
I can trace my roots back to about thirty different tribes, but my own parents are mostly Haudenosaunee Iroquois and of assorted Algonquian tribes.
I really appreciate your kind words! I have been trying very hard to keep the integrity of the language and lifestyle of the People, while at the same time exposing others to the ways of our ancestors.
I hope you will continue to read in the future and leave such nice words of motivation

Awww Yoru...thanks for the compliment! I really appreciate your stunning review of Wisteria's latest chapter. Jaken in love might be a little disturbing but I guess it's still cute HAHA. You rock too!!! I will work harder to write more chapters
