*cries at the happy ending* That was so beautiful *sniffle*, how dare you make me cry... stupid hormones...

I have to be honest.  I loved the story until the last chapter.  He abandoned her for three years and then just drops back in like nothing happened.  Since, unfortunately, she is still left with her human lifespan, he lost being with her those three years.  She could have enjoyed those years traveling with him.  Instead, she spends them in misery.  He evidently did not want her with him so why does he want her now?  She's a lot more forgiving than I would be. 

I'm sorry, but that last chapter just put me in a bad frame of mind.

*sniff*  so beautiful.

This is possibly the best Sesshoumaru/Kagome I have read in recent memory.  It is definitely the most well-written.  Amazing, astounding job.  Everyone in character, plot development was extraordinarily well thought and drawn out, and the exquisite pain of the ending was superb.  Brava, bravissima.  Thank you for the tale.  I look forward to future efforts of your pen.

Here, Trouble, this is for you. *Hands Trouble her bleeding, weeping heart* You tore it right out of my chest with this story. You cost me a box of Puffs - a BIG box of Puffs. But it is SUCH a GOOD story! And listening to Celine Dion's song just made the tears fall faster and thicker. I'm surprised I'm not covered with mold after all the tears I've shed throughout this whole story.

You are a truly superlative writer. Your characters have depth and complexity, your plot is original and fresh. You've given fanfiction a whole new definition for me.

The manga thing was a bit of a plot contrivence, but it actually worked into a very satisfying conclusion to this epic tale of finding your soul. Absolute perfection of allegory when Sess touched his long hair, signifying he had found his place in the world. And Kagome was on such a roller-coaster  -- she had lost everything and then gained it and so much more back. The song was perfect! Thanks for writing this story and please write another one soon. You've got a fan in me!

What a wonderful ending to such a wonderful story. I wasnt expecting her to move to the United States but I'm actually glad that she did. If I was her I would have done the same thing. Fresh new , start for a new life.

I almost cried when Sessy came back and after all this time even I realize that concept of embracing the silence.

I wish it wasnt over but I know that whatever other wonderful story ideas you come up with will be just as amazing as this story.
