Description:
"Eye balling the 'bubble tech.'"
Okay I'm not mad, but honestly i've had more then one comment on how this image looks "odd" and others that i've drawn before this one. Now you all must keep in mind that I'm in my mid twenties, and i've been drawing since i was about five. I've never studied art and more then anything am a hobbiest, but while i can do more detailed work i favor fanart for SK and related such n such.
That being said....I do know what a body should look like.
Clothing, shading, and many other things make a body look somewhat "unnatural" when drawn. But at the same time. this pose is a realistic stance for a body in motion with the correct posing and muscle mass. While it may look odd and lumpy it is in fact correct.
Please keep in mind that while i like constructive criticism as much as the next artist I am by far my worst critic. I will probably not post something i'm not proud of. that also being said, i just wanted to let anyone know why she looks as she does. By looking at the blue bubbles, you can see where the body muscle mass is, by taking in the redish pink lines you can kinda see where the more detailed outline of the body is before its clothed.
I'm not going to post anything else on this piece or why she looks the way she does unless i give a more detailed tutorial then this, probably wont on this piece, but if your interested, try and learn from this, and how the bubble method took me from bubbles to a person.
And remember to be kind in your comments, I took time and energy to draw this, so i'd appreciate people keeping that in mind when they comment on my work, not to mention other artist.
