Seducing The Crowd

Hey minna! This my new fanfic, my second, YAY! I'm so excited! This is a Cinderella plot but this won't be a traditional Cinderella story. I really hope you like it!

Yes, it will be Sess/Kag for all of you people who have been wanting one. What else oh yeah warnings and disclaimers.

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or any of it's characters and that sucks because I want to own Sessoumaru! *grabbing on to fluffy and chaining him to bed*

Warning: It's rated R for a reason children. Strong language, sexual situations, some violence, and lemons. So if your under 18 be gone!

On with the fic!

"I don't wanna be like Cinderella," a girl with deep brown eyes and long raven hair sang to herself, "sittin in a dark, cold, dusty cellar.

"Waitin for somebody to come and set me free." A voice chimed in.

"Hey Sango." The girl smiled at her friend and pulling of her headphones. "What's up girl?"

"Jason's blood pressure if we're late Kagome."

"Damnit!" Kagome exclaimed looking down at her watch.

"Yeah." Sango agreed nodding her head.

"Jason's gonna kill us." Kagome scrambled around gathering her books and stuffing them in her backpack.

"Kill you, you mean. You have to be at the restaurant early to run through your set for tonight. Not to mention that the big boss and his sons are coming by to."

"I know, I know." Kagome said throwing her bag over her shoulder and running out of the library with Sango, and right into the person she didn't want or need to see right now.

"Hey Kagome!" A high cheerful voice called out to her.

"Hey Hojo," Kagome answered him sounding a bit annoyed and rushed as she kept up her quick pace.

"How are you doing?"

"I'm fine Hojo. Look I'm in a bit of a rush so I'll see you later OK?" Kagome told him as they reached the front of the school.

"I'm going to get the car Kag." Sango yelled to her.

"Thanks Sango."

"Look Kagome," Hojo began, "I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go to the movies with me this weekend."

"Oh Hojo that's really sweet but I have to work this weekend." Kagome told him apologetically as Sango pulled up to the steps of the school.

"That's okay Kagome I understand. Maybe next weekend." He said hopefully.

"Yeah maybe." Kagome told noncommittally. "Look I have to go I'm already late." She told him as Sango started to blow the car horn. "I'll see you later OK?" She called back to him as she ran down the steps and hopped into Sango's car.

"OK! See you later Kagome!" Hojo called back cheerful as ever as the car sped away.

"Could that boy be more dense?" Sango asked Kagome in the car.

"I don't think so Sango. If he got anymore dense he'd be a black hole." Kagome told her. Kagome suddenly grabbed onto the front of the dashboard as Sango took the next corner on two wheels so she could run a light that was about to turn red.

"Hey speed racer you wanna slow down?"

"We don't have time to slow down." Sango told Kagome while trying to break every speed limit known to man. "We have to get to the restaurant, change, go to the staff meeting, run through your set tonight, set tables, knock Mirouku over the head for groping us, and try to figure out where we're going sit people because some idiot over booked us," Sango sighed out loud, "we don't have time to slow down."

"This is gonna be hell." Kagome groaned.

"Worse, at least in Hell you get a tan." Sango told her as they pulled in to work.

"Are you ready or what Sessoumaru?" Inuyasha called as he banged on his older brothers door. "If we're late Dad's going to freak."

"Unlike you little brother I take pride in how I look when I come out of the house."

Sessoumaru told him walking out of his bedroom dressed in A charcoal gray suit with a black suit and matching black tie. With his long silver hair pulled back in a low ponytail.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Inuyasha sneered at Sessoumaru. Looking down at his own black dress pants and red button down shirt.

"I mean I don't try to leave the house looking like a wannabe pimp."

"Keh. Whatever. Look Sessoumaru we have to pick up Kikyou and I don't want to be late." Inuyasha told him walking down the stairs.

"Once again Inuyasha you have proven me right."

"How is that?"

"I called you a wannabe pimp and with that gold-digging slut on your arm I must say you complete the image perfectly."

"What did you call her?" Inuyasha growled

"Get over it Inuyasha. She only with you for your large endowment and I don't mean your dick."

"Wow Sessoumaru I'm surprised you know what a dick is." Inuyasha shot back as the butler helped them on with coats.

"Well if I have any trouble identifying one I'm sure your slut, I mean girlfriend would have no trouble pointing one out to me."

"Fuck off Sessoumaru." Inuyasha told him as they slid into the waiting limo.

"After you little brother."

"TENCHI I NEED MY ORDER FOR TABLE NINE!!" Kagome yelled at one of the chef's in the kitchen.

"You can't rush art Kag!" Tenchi called back to the irate waitress.

"If they wanted art they would have gone to a museum. Food. NOW!"

"Yeah, yeah it's coming."

Kagome leaned back against the wall and blew a few strands of hair that had escaped from the twist she put her hair in and relaxed for a minute.

"Slacking off are we?" Mirouku teased her as he passed by with a tray of food.

"Screw you Mirouku." She called back.

"Anytime sweetie." Mirouku grinned before disappearing into the dining room.

"Hentai." Sango muttered as she came into the kitchen narrowly missing another server. "How you holding up babe?"

"With the wall." Kagome quipped, "Sango I don't know if I can do this."

"Can't do what? Kagome we've been over this. You have an amazing voice. Your going to be fantastic not to mention that you need the extra money."

"Yeah right." Kagome sighed.

"Of course I am."

"Sango I said YEAH right not YOUR..."

"Now I don't want to here anymore about what you can't or won't do." Sango went on, Ignoring Kagome.

"Yeah well I'll tell you one thing I won't do."

"What's that?"

"What I won't do is GO BACK OUT THERE WITHOUT TABLE NINE'S FREAKING ORDER!"

"Here you shrew. Take your damn order and get out of my freaking kitchen."

Kagome loaded up her tray and went to deliver her table's order. As she was apologizing profusely for the delay Mirouku came up behind her.

"Heads up." He whispered in her ear.

As Kagome looked up her stomach twisted in knots. Lord Inutaisho along with his two sons Sessoumaru and Inuyasha along two men she had never seen before were being escorted by her manager, Jason, to their private booth. Along, Kagome thought with disgust, her stepsister Kikyou on the arm of Inuyasha.

But the person who caught her eye was Sessoumaru, Lord Inutaisho's eldest son. With his long silver hair and deep, penetrating gold eyes. He literally made her heart skip a beat. As he was seated at his table he chose that moment to look up. And right into her eyes. As his cool eyes slowly assessed her Kagome became uncomfortably aware of her appearance.

From her messy, damp hair, to her slightly stained apron, to the slight circles under her eyes obtained from to many hours at work and school and not enough sleep. He finally looked away from her to answer a question from one of his guests. Kagome let out a small sigh.

'Like he would ever really notice me.' She thought to herself.

Out of the corner of her eye she noticed Sango waving to her from the kitchen telling her silently that it was time to get ready. With a look of slight dread on her face she squared her shoulders took a deep breath and and went to face her fate. Sango and makeup, Kagome thought with a shudder. Fate has a twisted sense of humor.

"So what do you think Lord Shinchrio?" Lord Inutaisho asked looking around his restaurant with pride. "Did Sessoumaru not do an excellent job?"

"It's very impressive Inutaisho. You have every right to be proud of your son." Lord Shinchrio agreed.

As his father and Lord Shinchrio spoke Sessoumaru felt someone watching him.

As he looked up he was surprised to find himself staring into the warmest brown eyes he'd ever seen. As he looked over the person with the eyes that looked straight into him. He was strangely pleased with what he saw. Along with one of the most amazing mouth he had ever seen. He suddenly felt the strangest urge to go and see for himself how her full lips tasted.

"Tell me Sessoumaru," Lord Shinchrio asked Sessoumaru bringing his gaze away from the waitress, "what is this new event you have planned tonight?"

"For three nights every week a live singer will sing songs here in the restaurant. Tonight is to be the first performance."

"Sounds intriguing I can't wait to see how it works out."

"Neither can I Lord Shinchrio. Neither can I." Sessoumaru answered vaguely turning to scan for the waitress. But to his slight irritation and disappointment, which made him even more irritated, she was gone. As one of the other waiter's came with their drinks and light talk was made the lights in the restaurant suddenly dimmed. The show was about to began.

"Five minutes Kagome!" Jason called as he knocked on the door where she was getting ready.

"Sango I don't know about this dress." Kagome said as Sango zipped her up.

"What's not to know." Sango told Kagome distractedly while she sat Kagome down and started to work on her eye makeup. "When you go out there in this dress those people are going to go wild." After Sango was done with her eyes she moved on to her hair. Pulling it into a simple French twist before placing an old fashion black hat that practically shielded the top half of her face. As she was doing this she noticed a look of slight fear on her best friends face.

"What was it you told me once?" Sango asked as she finished Kagome's hair. That when you go out on stage you try to draw them into what your feeling?"

"Seducing the crowd Sango."

"Yeah that. That's what your going to do tonight. Go out there draw them in in with your voice. Now your almost ready where are your shoes?"

"Over there." Kagome said gesturing as she finished putting on her lip gloss. As Sango slipped on her shoes Kagome ran down the checklist with Sango.

"The band knows where starting off with Ready For Love?"

"Yes."

"And the guys know about the lighting?"

"Uh-huh."

"And..."

"Gome chill. Everything's ready OK?"

"OK. How do I look?" Kagome asked her standing up and turning around.

"Beautiful. Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

Kagome took one last deep breath before following Sango out of the dressing area. As Kagome walked pass all of the cooks, runners, and wait staff wished her luck.

"This is it." Sango told her with a reassuring smile. "Good luck."

"Thanks girl." As the lights dimmed in the restaurant Kagome went out and hit her spot in the middle of the stage she signaled to the band that she was ready opened her mouth and began her seduction of the crowd.
