With the influx of new forum games lately, I thought I'd add to the pile It's called "Best or Worse" and the idea of it is to name an event or item and ask what the answerer believes is the best or worst.

What is the best novel you have ever read?

The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. There are no wasted words in the whole book. Unbelievable.

What was the worst thing you ever bought?

nads. You know the hair removal methods that is all natural. I don't know why I thought a product named after a most decidely male body part would work for hair removal, but I did. I impress myself with my stupidity at times.


What was the best complement you ever recieved?

I'd say the best compliment was from my old Geology professor. I was doing all right in his class on structural geology, but college at the time was something I don't think I was prepared to take responsibility for. He took me aside after I had missed more than half of the classes and told me that for getting the grade of a "C" in his class, I was a very gifted girl. It was sort of an awkward compliment, but the idea that if only I truly applied myself, I could accomplish great things really meant a lot to me.


What is the worst class you have ever taken?

Well since I'm not in college yet. I would have to say when I was in high school the worst class I ever took was JROTC. I hated it. I think you would really have to have a passion for it to enjoy it, but lucky for me I got out for the second half of the school year.

What is your best memory?

Holding my first child for the first time. I thought I knew what love was... Then my heart overflowed.

What was the worst date you ever went on?

I went out with an in-progress transexual once. Surprise, surprise!

Miss Kagura that was crazy. I have a scar on my lef breast thats pretty annoying. I dropped something hot on it and it left a nice v shaped scar.

Whats the worst injury you've ever had?

Nobody, I agree. Miss Kagura, that is just surreal... I've been a lot of places, done a lot of things, but you've got me on that one.

I had my finger nailed to a board with a nail gun. No, I did not do it to myself. Yes, it hurt. Yes, the nail had to be pulled. Yes, that hurt too.

What is, to you, the best ride at the amusement park?

I blew my knee out, in highschool. it took over 7 month of PT to be able to walk without crutches.


What is the best movie you have seen?

In recent memory, I'd have to say that the worst taste I've experienced was some sort of roe sushi. I wanted to spit it out so bad, but the embarrassment of that outweighed my disgust. Sorry to all of you sushi fans...

I agree completely! We have The Beast here. It used to be the largest and fastest wood roller coaster. It is still a FUN ride! Oh, and I too love the Princess Bride, book and movie.

Whats the worst job you've ever had.

My worst job... I'd have to say when I worked for a quadriplegic woman a few years ago. I was required to spend three entire days a week with her at about 100 dollars per day. She said it would be light housework and that my main responsibility was to help her shower and empty her bedpan on occasion at night.

The woman worked me like a slave. She wanted elaborate meals, deep cleaning of her house, to help her with her exercises and to deal with her and her bedpan on the hour all night long. And all of this was with disco party music blaring on the radio (except at night). I never got any sleep and I lasted all of two weeks...

The only enjoyment I got from the job was rolling my first and only joints for her medical marijuana


What is the best summer day you've ever had?

One day i took all my brothers to the beach we had a blast built sandcastle swam and had a picnic. We drove home and they all slept the entire 6 hour car ride. There are 5 of them and they were 16 it was nice to see them not ne snotty teenagers for once.

I work with developmentally disabled adults and we had to take a class about fire safety. The class was all common sense, and the teacher was speaking in a monotone tone of voice. I contemplated shoving a pencil in my eye so I wouldn't have to stay.

As for an answer, I will say the worst unexpected event to have happened to me while being intimate with someone, although it's probably not nearly as fascinating as Miss Kagura's "Crying Game" discovery.
